Description:
ARC (Action for the Retired Community) is a not-for profit, neighborhood-based multi-service agency serving the needs of the elderly in northern Manhattan. ARC was founded in 1973. It has always been in the forefront of developing new and innovative programs and resources for the elderly of our community. In addition to its own programs, ARC seeks to identify and respond to the changing needs of senior citizens, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all residents of the area. ARC works cooperatively with other community agencies to enhance the lives of senior citizens.
