The mission of the St. Albans Deliverance Ministries is to uplift the community through activities and services for those in need. Our vision is directed towards developing people in a loving, supportive environment.
Description:
St. Albans Deliverance Ministries is located at 205-14 Hollis Avenue in St. Albans, NY. Bishop Matthew Johnson Sr. is the founder and presiding Bishop. His wife, Elect-Lady Joann Johnson, is co-pastor. This family oriented ministry is dedicated to service, while showing compassion for all people. We believe church is more than a building, it is a place to help foster spiritual and emotional growth, provide assistance in times of need and inspire our youth to reach their goals.
History:
St. Albans Deliverance Ministries was founded 41 years ago by Bishop Matthew Johnson Sr. and Co-pastor Joann Johnson, with the intention of spreading love and empowering the St. Albans community. This vision still remains the focus of the ministry. There are a number of outreach programs developed by the St. Albans family to reach this goal, including the youth auxiliary, the missionary board and the St. Albans Deliverance Christian Academy, which promotes the educational excellence of all children from nursery school through eighth grade.
