Millennium Sistahs Inc mission is to promote, enhance, develop, sustain visibility and growth, and provide services for young women and adults world wide.

Description:
We provide FREE medical care in New York, the Caribbean, and South Africa for the under-served. We also donate clothing and toys to orphanages. In New York, we participate in many health fairs, where we do glucose and cholesterol testing, and high blood pressure tests. In addition we distribute condoms and provide HIV and sexual health education. In the Caribbean and South Africa we provide comprehensive care depending which discipline of the medical team goes on each trip. We have performed, total examinations, pap smears, dental care, mental health screenings etc. We work well as a team and we all love doing what we can to help others.

History:
Millennium Sistahs Inc began in 1999 has been working towards our goals and objectives. The organization was founded by Ms Glenda Hills, a Caribbean national. We have been featured in some radio programming and several newspapers on HIV/AIDS issues. We travel twice per year to provide care.

Overall Experience   
This is what I have wanted to do since I was 18 years old and it was the most amazing, rewarding experience of my life.

I belong to Millenium Sistahs, which I discovered this year, and this was my very first over seas volunteer experience. My two teenage daughters, 18 and 16, were also with me. We had the most wonderful, rewarding time of our life. The CEO of MS, Glenda Hills is a truly wonderful caring person, as is all the rest of the team that went on this trip.
