Pet Project Alliance is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization devoted to increasing awareness of the human-animal bond and its ability to foster healing, development and well-being in people.

Description:
Our goal is to design, develop and help implement programs that will be offered nationally and increase the reach and impact of the following:

  • The positive effects of the companionship of humans and animals
  • The adoption of shelter animals
  • The use of animals in the care and treatment of people
  • Humane education

Pet Project Alliance was founded by Lynne Lerner. She is licensed by the Delta Society as a Pet Partner Animal Evaluator. She currently serves as the New York City Liaison for the Delta Society. Lynne has lectured in the New York metropolitan area on the benefits of animal-assisted activity and therapy.
