St. John's Bread and Life began in 1982 we are located in the most impoverished community of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York with a population of 138,000. St.John's Bread and Life seeks to address the issues of poverty in Brooklyn. Our goal is to combat poverty and help people acheive self- sufficiency as well as to educate the public and increase awareness about needy New Yorkers and how our Soup Kitchens and Food Pantries make a difference.
Description:
For Many, the meals that Bread and Life provides are the only meals they will have that day.Our Food Pantry provides three meals a day for three days of food for families in need. Our Mom's Supprt Group meetes every Thursday to provide learning experiences.

St. John's Bread and Life has been feeding the hungry since 1982.
