St. John's Bread and Life began in 1982 we are located in the most impoverished community of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York with a population of 138,000.
St.John's Bread and Life seeks to address the issues of poverty in Brooklyn.
Our goal is to combat poverty and help people acheive self- sufficiency as well as to educate the public and increase awareness about needy New Yorkers and how our Soup Kitchens and Food Pantries make a difference.

Description:
For Many, the meals that Bread and Life provides are the only meals they will have that day.Our Food Pantry provides three meals a day for three days of food for families in need.
Our Mom's Supprt Group meetes every Thursday to provide learning experiences.

History:
St. John's Bread and Life has been feeding the hungry since 1982.
