Youth Venture New York

| Last updated on October 10, 2007 |
Youth Venture is a national not for profit organization that invests in young people as changemakers. The youth create, lead, and launch their own community-minded institutions with the support of Youth Venture. For the past three years, with the help of Youth Venture, hundreds of young people have established long lasting organizations, clubs, or businesses.
Description:
Youth Venturers are taking responsibility for shaping their lives and their communities. The ventures young people create are as diverse as the needs – ranging from tutoring services to expression workshops, from bike stores to dance clubs, from adopt a grandparent programs to youth diabetes support groups. These ideas become ventures through the commitment and dedication of young people, and through the strong network of Youth Venture support. We like to say: if they can Dream It, then they can Do It.
