Leonard Covello Senior Center is a part of the Institute for Puerto Rican/Hispanic Elderly. The Covello Senior Center provides a space and services to enrich the quality of life of the senior population in East Harlem. We offer nutritious meals, physical activity and educational and recreational programs to enhance life for seniors in the community. We believe that all people deserve to be treated with dignity, regardless of at what stage in their life they may be. We also offer workshops, activities (BINGO, Pool Table, Arts & Crafts, Exercise, and Dominoes), Trips, a Senior Birthday Party at the end of every month, Social Services, English and Spanish class, and so much more.

We love volunteers and welcome you to join us!
