Based in Queens, The ECNA is dedicated to help immigrants from the former Soviet Union adjust to their new life in America. We are dedicated to assist this community to integrate to the American society while remaining proud of their Jewish roots and heritage.
Description:
The ECNA is a non-profit organization working hard to provide educational, advocacy and service programs to immigrants. We have programs such as ESL classes, Citizenship classes, children's and teen's programs, food distribution to the needy, as well as provide necessary resources, information and referrals to the community.
History:
The Educational Center for New Americans has been established over 20 years ago in response to the growing number of new immigrants from the former Soviet Union in NY. The Center has since grown and expanded its activities, and recently dedicated its new residence in Rego Park, Queens. it continues to serve the needs of the community with compassion and dedication.
