The American Diabetes Association is organizing the Annual Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk to be held on Sunday, October 26 at the South Street Seaport in New York City. The Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk is the American Diabetes Association's signature fund-raising event. Since 1991, it has raised more than $150 million toward the prevention of diabetes, the search for a cure and support for those living with diabetes. In NYC alone, more than 800,000 people live with diabetes. We are looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the Walk in the following areas: Set-up/Break Down Check-in/T-shirts Start/Finish Line - Cheerleading/Food & Beverage Photo Area Volunteers will receive an official Volunteer T-shirt, food and beverage, and a goody bag for all of your hard work and dedication.
