Comprehensive Development, Inc. (CDI) is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1996. In partnership with Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day High School, we prepare older high school students to graduate with the skills and knowledge to be successful participants in the global economy and responsible members of their community.

Description:
CDI's goal is to enable each student to live up to his/her capacity and potential. Our struggling students (ages 17-21) come to Manhattan Comprehensive by their own choosing, highly motivated to earn their high school diplomas. We provide access to critically-needed services, such as tutoring, mentoring and internships free of charge. By mobilizing collaborators and assets from the surrounding community – particularly the vital energy of volunteers – our services provide students with an opportunity for personal, academic and professional success.
