In order to promote the health of the community, we servie persons infected, affected and at risk of HIV infection. We strive to serve in a non-judgemental, compassionate, supportive environment as an affirmation of our commitment to our community.
Description:
We serve the community of Staten Island with prevention education, social educational programs and case management.
History:
The Staten Island AIDS Task Force was founded in 1989 to meet the needs of the HIV/AIDS special population on Staten Island. We provide AIDS education to the public and private highs schools in the community as well as provide case management to those in needs of benefits.
