Project HAPPY is a physical education program for people with disabilities.
Description:
Program Goals *To promote skill development in a variety of athletic and recreational activities. *To involve Hunter College students and people from the community in HAPPY activities and educational projects for people with disabilities. *To provide a community service to populations with special needs.
History:
Project HAPPY started in January of 1981 and has been serving chldren, youth and young adults since that time.
