Our mission is to teach youth how to make positive choices for self, family, community, education and career. We use the visual media's of photography, film and video. Media arts have a wide range of uses in many careers. This gives kid's career choices.
Description:
We offer youth 8-18 the chance to learn video production and photography. Technics from camera work to editing are taught in our workshops. Other workshops include script writing and storyboarding. We also offer workshops for kid's that are interested in fashion and fashion design. our workshops are taught by talented professionals. In 2005 we began a B&W photography program for youth. The program teaches young people the theory of taking photographs and how to process and print35mm B&W film. We are looking for volunteers with a background in film or video.
History:
We are a new organization having received our 501(c)3 status on 12/09/2003. Since then we have been busy, our program "It's All Real" began operation at Herbert Von King Cultural Arts Center in Brooklyn, N.Y..
