Rise Up & Walk Youth Outreach Center Inc is a not-for-profit community based organization providing a quality safe educational and recreational program for youth in New York City that promote academic achievement, positive social interaction, spiritual awareness and community service.

Description:
Rise Up & Walk Youth Outreach Center Inc,offers these opportunities primarily in Brooklyn attracting youth from each of the surrounding boroughs. We offer students an opportunity to enjoy the process of learning and it's benefits. In addition, concerned citizens looking to make a difference have an opportunity to give of their time, share knowledge and create short and long-term relationships.

History:
Rise Up & Walk Youth Outreach Center Inc was began as a result of a Outreach program held at the Mt.Zion Church in Brooklyn on June 27, 1998. Since, Rise Up & Walk sponsors after-school activities, School-Day and After-school Mentoring,Volunteer recruitment and trainings, basketball instructional clinics and tournaments, health and nutrition, music,arts and crafts.
