Children's Liberation Daycare Center mission is to provide an educational setting for all children to learn at their own pace. Our vision for CLDCC is to welcome all children and to give back to the community of the Lower East Side.
Description:
CLDCC is a wonderful place for children to become introduced to learning. Parents are their child's first teacher and at CLDCC we like to think of ourselves as a continuation of the family in utilizing teaching methods that will not only interest children but interest parents to become interested in their child's education. We encourage children to do and to become independent thinkers.
History:
Children's Liberation Daycare Center was originally housed in the Third Street Music School in the late 70's to early 80's. The school eventually moved into the community center space of PS 122, where its been there ever since. We are a school rich with community ties. We believe in our community and in our school. CLDCC is a special place to work and we are looking for special people who want to make a positive difference in the life of a child.
