ASC is a multi-service community organization that fulfills its mission of helping many, one by one through dynamic programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities. ASC's services include peer education, training and outreach; specialized women's services; health promotion and harm reduction initiatives; links to medical care and appropriate housing; translation assistance and child care support; HIV treatment education; supportive counseling; and much more. These comprehensive programs promote the well-being, empowerment, and stability of persons living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS throughout the City and the neighboring areas.

Description:
AIDS Service Center offers comprehensive tailored services for people of color, women, families, the homeless, active and recovering substance users, the LGBT community, and others living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS. ASC's 'one-stop shopping' approach makes it easy for clients to navigate the complex web of social service and health care systems. We provide case management, support groups, harm reduction and health promotion initiatives; treatment adherence support, HIV testing, links to medical care and appropriate housing; peer training and outreach services; translation assistance and child care support; recovery support; and much more. All services are free, confidential, and English/Spanish bilingual. ASC's services are provided by a dedicated and experienced staff who reflect our diverse client base in terms of languages spoken, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and life histories including people living with HIV/AIDS, persons in recovery, lesbians and gay men, and longtime members of the local community.
