Family and Community Support Services, Inc. works with non custodial fathers, aged 16-24 to provide parenting skills, counseling, and 1:1 father to father mentoring. Our mission to revitalize and strengthen family bonds by working towards the reunification of stratified families is that if we help one child, we help the community. We need adult father mentors.

Volunteer mentors will be screened through the national FBI database, interviewed, trained and matched with fathers aged 16 to 24. A host of support mechanisms will assist qualified adult mentors in helping a child succeed in school and in life. Inherent in our mission is the notion of dignity and worth of the individual in that all individuals have personal strengths waiting to be discovered and recognized. These strengths are our greatest assets. Our mentoring program consists of working one-on-one with first time father 4 hours per month. FATHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
