 Are you a Teen (15-18) who is looking for an opportunity to educate your peers about Health & Wellness? Hip Hop 4 Life may be a great volunteering fit for you! Parental/ Guardian consent is a must! At the heart of Hip Hop 4 Life’s foundation is the belief that young people deserve a mechanism via which to become an integral part of the organization. The Teen Empowerment Team provides a viable platform to assist teens in the development of their leadership potential, communication skills and self esteem. This network of 30 young people assists the organization in the following capacity:
- Volunteering during local Hip Hop 4 Life Shades of Beauty and Man Up! workshops and events/
- Leadership and Internship initiatives.
- Monthly discussions of topics relevant to both the teen demographic and Hip Hop 4 Life core mission.
- Empowerment Team members may be nominated or apply to act as Empowerment Ambassadors, after the completion of 1 year of service and a written statement of purpose/ application is received by Hip Hop 4 Life.
