Why Volunteer At SIRA? There is nothing more rewarding than making a difference in another person's life. You can do that here at SIRA. Help a child or and adult with a physical, developmental, or emotional disability achieve success in an activity where self-confidence replaces self-doubt. Feel the strong bond that grows as rider, volunteer and horse work together. Be uplifted by the experience of giving your time and effort in this unique environment.
Who can be a volunteer? YOU can! Whether or not you have experience with horses or people with special needs, there's a role for you at SIRA. As a volunteer you may choose from a variety of activities, depending upon your interests. Concerned that you don't know enough about doing this job? Join us with confidence because all volunteers are offered training and educational sessions are given regularly. The professional SIRA staff is always willing to share their knowledge and lend you their support.
