Volunteer-Literacy Leaders and Homework Assistants For Fall 2008

Seeking volunteer to assist staff in our Library assisting youth improve reading skills and help with homework for ages 6 to 17 during the hours of 2:30pm to 8:00pm. Volunteer will assist club member in reading, math, science and English skills; setting examples to enrich our youth to learn in a fun way.
Volunteer will assist youth in navigating the internet, teaching various computer tools to use to research their homework and school projects. Assisting in supervision of youth in our Library and Computer Labs.
Volunteer opportunities available for special events such as our Annual Holiday Party and annual Holiday Carnival held in December. Teach a youth how to play billiards, ping pong, foosball and plan and assist staff in formulating tournaments to be held at our club and other clubs!!

We require volunteers to undergo background checking and drug testing and willing to work as part of a team. We are very flexible with volunteer availability during the hours of 2:30pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday.
