With over 200 member agencies, throughout the 5 boroughs, FPWA tailors a volunteer position to meet your needs. Opportunities exist to tutor, mentor, visit the homebound elderly, serve meals to the elderly and those with HIV/AIDS, or provide clerical and technical assistance. In addition, we arrange corporate service days where volunteer groups can paint rooms, plant gardens, create libraries in day care centers or perform other tasks, as needed. FPWA also recruits, trains and places talented professionals on Boards of Directors of non-profits. Requirements depend upon the specific opportunity. This opportunity is sponsored by: Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies
