U.S. Fund for UNICEF to recruit youth for the NYC Tap Project Water Walk.  The Water Walk is a 1-mile walk taking place in Riverside Park on Saturday, March 15^th at 10AM. Youth volunteers will be carrying NYC tap water in solidarity to represent the children around the world who have to carry water home everyday. After the walk, there will also be snacks and educational activities for participants to enjoy.

 The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is providing the attached educational packet for groups and families to review with their youth in order to help prepare for the day’s activities. The packet highlights global issues surrounding clean water and what youth can do to make a difference at the community level.
