OROE is out there teaching the public how to recycle. And we are in need of dedicated volunteers who want to learn about recycling and then help spread the word ! OROE's borough -wide coordinators are training volunteers, building managers and landlords to recycle properly. New Yorkers need to waste less, so OROE is providing an array of special waste collections for materials From tenant trainings in buildings to compost workshops in community gardens and recycling games and rap-offs in public places, OROE is out there teaching the public. If you are interested in volunteering or want more information, please RSVP to attend a volunteer training on Tuesday, June 24th from 6:30pm to 8pm in our offices near City Hall. Learn what's new with recycling in NYC and find out how you can get involved with OROE. Pizza and other refreshments will be provided. |
