Speak Out New York is an annual, citywide neighborhood survey. Citizens Committee for New York City conducts this survey to find out what New Yorkers think about their neighborhoods and what they are willing to do to make their communities better. Volunteers are invited to conduct surveys at street fairs, farmers’ markets, libraries, music festivals and other community events around the city. Citizens Committee also partners with neighborhood groups, such as block associations, parent teacher associations and local cultural groups, to survey their communities. Volunteers should be outgoing and willing to approach people on the streets to ask them to take the survey. |
